March 14th / 63 Dear Father

I write to inform you
that I am still here and shall stay
untill the return of Capt Nichols (Nichols (Captain)) .
It is my request that you do not write
to him untill you hear from me again.
Knowthing (Nothing) of importance has transpired
since my last letter to you. We are
having lovely weather. I will write
again soon.

Love to all Will (Will) .

I have not heard from Wilson (Wilson)
yet. I shall write him him t. day & expect to stay
home until I hear from him.
