We the undersigned Brothers,
W. G. Morris (Morris, W.G.) and George Dereamer (Dereamer, George) was
regularly elected, initiated, and raised,
to the Sublime degree of a master mason
in Star Spangled Banner Lodge of Free
and accepted Masons belonging to the
2nd N. Hampshire Volunteers (2nd Regiment, New Hampshire)  George W.
Gordon  Captain (Gordon, George W. (Captain)) Commanding Company
I. (Company I)
at Point LookoutM.d. (Maryland) (Point Lookout, Maryland) and being
desirous of affiliating with Lodges near
our own homes we not write to You
requesting a diploma to certify that
we are Masons as the worshipfull (worshipful) Master.
