I thought that I would
write & tell you what
we are about well we are in
one of uncle Sams cabinet
shops we are makeing (making) every
thing you can think of most
we got here safe last Sunday
we get enough to eat & Drink
I had one thing to day that
I very much needed that was
a good swim I went in
the cumberland (Cumberlnad River) since to
day it is nice this is a
very large place & it is
filled full of soldiers & goverment (government)
stores I presume that there
is $10,000,000 worth of goods
here that belongs to the
goverment (government) well I am getting
