I have just time to write
a word or so and I am
thankful to say that I am
still well safe and sound
Philo (Philo) Richard (Richard) Elet [__] ([__]) Martin (Martin)
and all the boy's from
Hebron (Hebron, New York) are all well
and safe so far we had
another fight yesterday
we drove the rebs three
miles they made quite a
stand at the place about
four o'clock but we drove
them and now have
posession of the town
it is about the size of
Granville cornner's (Corners) (Granville Corners, New York) our
reg't was very lucky we
try supporting lottery
we were under heavy
fireing (firing) but they shot
